A New Life

Since facing cancer, I saw life in 2 ways: life before and life after diagnosis.  August 24th 2007 became a fateful day in my life.

3 years later,
the molting process of shedding the underdeveloped person I had been; I matured; I evolved; I was ready for the next step.  Preparation began.

The journey that followed is now culminating.  In March I started to hear back from MBA programs about advancing myself further.  In April, I decided on NYU Stern to gain a better financial education.  I gave my 2-week notice and took a deep breath.

With my newfound unemployment freedom, I am alive again.  I still wake up at the same time, but there is no frantic rush.  With good coffee and digital morning news, I start my day.  The days are longer now.  And better.

3 days later, I marvel at how much I can accomplish this summer.  More to come...

Be well, do good.
